I’m Stacia Aaron, the founder of Functional Beginnings.

My career in healthcare began in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), where I first discovered my deep connection to women and mothers. Over time, that passion led me to work at a local fertility clinic, where I gained invaluable experience helping women navigate their fertility and hormonal health. The more I worked with women, the more I realized the unique challenges we face when it comes to hormonal balance, fertility, and overall well-being.

It was through this experience that I decided to become a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP)—because I knew I could offer women the support and care they truly deserve.

But it wasn’t just my professional experience that shaped my path; my personal health journey played a huge role too. When my daughter was born

with severe allergies and eczema, we struggled to find lasting solutions through traditional medicine. Frustrated with treatments that only masked her symptoms, I turned to functional medicine—and it was life-changing. By focusing on the root causes of her health issues, rather than just managing symptoms, we were able to support her healing in ways conventional treatments could not.

This experience ignited my passion for functional medicine and led me to become certified by The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). This certification has provided me with the tools that I need to help guide you on your personal wellness journey.

When I’m not practicing functional medicine, you’ll find me spending time with my husband, our four children, and our fur babies. I’m a lifelong learner, a soccer mom, and an avid football fan. I also enjoy cooking, golfing, and traveling.

I truly look forward to working with you and helping you on your path to better health!
